INTERIOR & EXTERIOR DESIGN

A second bedroom was added to this compact apartment, utilising double height space above the hall and bathroom. The bedroom floor was partly cantilevered over the lower level, maximising floor area above while allowing a kitchen to be fitted below. An internal feature window and open tread staircase were used to bring light into the new spaces and the apartment was renovated throughout. Creative design solutions were needed to make the most of a small space and limited budget.
